The results are comparable with the findings of Gerber and colleagues [37]. The presented results are an important prerequisite for the future use of the implemented VR setup in patients even without the help of an experimenter (eg, by patients with a chronic pain condition). Thus, we evaluated the tool to be a reliable, easy-to-use VR setup for the cardiovisual full-body illusion, showing a high level of usability and good tolerance in healthy participants.
