Use of Artificial Intelligence in Adolescents’ Mental Health Care: Systematic Scoping Review of Current Applications and Future Directions

Use of Artificial Intelligence in Adolescents’ Mental Health Care: Systematic Scoping Review of Current Applications and Future Directions

Reviews have further emphasized that this mental health burden is compounded by increased screen time and social media use, with complex bidirectional relationships identified between digital media exposure and psychological well-being [9,10]. Suicide is the fourth most significant cause of death among older adolescents (15‐19 y) [7], accounting for 9.1% of all mortalities in this age range [11].

Remote Photoplethysmography Technology for Blood Pressure and Hemoglobin Level Assessment in the Preoperative Assessment Setting: Algorithm Development Study

Remote Photoplethysmography Technology for Blood Pressure and Hemoglobin Level Assessment in the Preoperative Assessment Setting: Algorithm Development Study

The major obstacles to obtaining an accurate signal for r PPG-based vital sign measurements are changes in ambient lighting conditions and movement artifacts. However, these artifacts always present and are not completely avoidable in realistic conditions [2]. Our study aims to develop a model for noninvasive, r PPG-based BP and hemoglobin concentration measurement in patients with diverse skin tones and medical comorbidities in real world conditions, at the preoperative evaluation clinic setting.

The Most Popular Videos Promoting Breast Enhancement Products on TikTok: Cross-Sectional Content and User Engagement Analysis

The Most Popular Videos Promoting Breast Enhancement Products on TikTok: Cross-Sectional Content and User Engagement Analysis

This digital landscape highlights social media’s considerable influence on beauty standards and their psychological impact, particularly among younger users. Media psychology research provides insights into why Tik Tok could strongly affect viewers’ body perceptions. “Social Comparison Theory,” originally proposed by Festinger [13], posits that individuals assess their worth by comparing themselves to others.

Artificial Intelligence–Based Mobile Phone Apps for Child Mental Health: Comprehensive Review and Content Analysis

Artificial Intelligence–Based Mobile Phone Apps for Child Mental Health: Comprehensive Review and Content Analysis

Growing up in the digital era, children are inherently familiar with digital devices such as smartphones and tablets [12,13]. These tools offer an intuitive and user-friendly interface, eliminating complexities or abstract concepts and reducing potential barriers for younger users [13]. Previous research highlights a strong preference among children and adolescents for AI-integrated tools [13].

Integrated Psychosocial Care in Intensive Care (IPS-Pilot): Protocol for the Systematic, Multimethod Development of a Complex Intervention (Phase A)

Integrated Psychosocial Care in Intensive Care (IPS-Pilot): Protocol for the Systematic, Multimethod Development of a Complex Intervention (Phase A)

Guidance on the procedure was obtained from the Center for Clinical Trials Ulm, and processing activities have been registered at all sites. A trustee office has been established to ensure the secure transfer of data. Personally identifiable data were only collected when necessary (eg, for data withdrawal after participation). These data were transferred solely between the involved parties using secure messaging systems.

Exploring Generative Pre-Trained Transformer-4-Vision for Nystagmus Classification: Development and Validation of a Pupil-Tracking Process

Exploring Generative Pre-Trained Transformer-4-Vision for Nystagmus Classification: Development and Validation of a Pupil-Tracking Process

A large-scale language processing model, known as a large language model (LLM) is a highly versatile system trained on extensive text data using a transformer architecture. It has demonstrated high accuracy in medical classification and text recognition [13]. In one such model, the Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT), the advent of GPT-4 Vision (GPT-4 V) made it possible to combine image recognition by devising prompts and classification without requiring image training data [14,15].

A Knowledge-Enhanced Platform (MetaSepsisKnowHub) for Retrieval Augmented Generation–Based Sepsis Heterogeneity and Personalized Management: Development Study

A Knowledge-Enhanced Platform (MetaSepsisKnowHub) for Retrieval Augmented Generation–Based Sepsis Heterogeneity and Personalized Management: Development Study

After data retrieval and processing, we used a browser-server structure and a WAMP system (Windows Server 2016 + Apache 2.4.39 + My SQL [10.4.6-Maria DB] + PHP 7.3.8) to visualize the Meta Sepsis Know Hub (Figure S3 in Multimedia Appendix 1). Users can use their own browsers to access Meta Sepsis Know Hub conveniently, without installing other components. HTML and CSS were used to create web pages and display interface information.

Smart Technology Facilitated Patient-Centered Venous Thromboembolism Management (the SmaVTE Study): Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Smart Technology Facilitated Patient-Centered Venous Thromboembolism Management (the SmaVTE Study): Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Smart technology, such as wearable devices, mobile health (m Health) apps, artificial intelligence, and digital communication platforms, has shown potential in facilitating patient education, providing real-time feedback, and enhancing patient engagement [22-24]. The use of smart technology in patient-centered care supports personalized and proactive health care by empowering patients to manage their health, which is especially important for VTE, where patient behavior greatly affects outcomes [13,16,25].

Wearable-Enhanced mHealth Intervention to Promote Physical Activity in Manual Wheelchair Users: Single-Group Pre-Post Feasibility Study

Wearable-Enhanced mHealth Intervention to Promote Physical Activity in Manual Wheelchair Users: Single-Group Pre-Post Feasibility Study

Raw acceleration signal data are packed using the “batching” function of the Wear OS and sent to the smartphone app each minute. The heart rate data are streamed to the smartphone app continuously. The companion app also shows the connection status and issues vibration notifications when the watch is disconnected from the phone or a sedentary behavior is detected. The battery of the smartwatch lasts about 10‐11 hours. The Sensor Tag is a multisensor Internet-of-Things device [22].
