Participants were recruited from the general population and had experienced the loss of their partner at least 1 month before the RCT. A more extensive list of inclusion and exclusion criteria can be found in the dedicated study protocol of the RCT [9]. During the RCT, 4 e-coaches provided guidance in the form of a weekly email with short, personalized feedback and support.

Use of a Data Repository to Identify Delirium as a Presenting Symptom of COVID-19 Infection in Hospitalized Adults: Cross-Sectional Cohort Pilot Study

Use of a Data Repository to Identify Delirium as a Presenting Symptom of COVID-19 Infection in Hospitalized Adults: Cross-Sectional Cohort Pilot Study

While a higher number of patients over 65 years old had delirium Po A (in the ED), there was a higher percentage of patients younger than 65 years who developed delirium while in the hospital. Unfortunately, not all the admitted patients were tested for COVID-19 on admission, particularly in the early part of the pandemic. Nevertheless, this suggests that it may be beneficial to adopt delirium prevention protocols for all patients with COVID-19 upon admission.
