Factors Influencing the Severity of Urinary and Defecatory Dysfunction Among the Middle-Aged and Older Adult Chinese Population: Longitudinal Study of a 5-Wave Survey Cohort

To achieve the first study aim, a descriptive analysis was conducted to examine the characteristic of prevalence of UDD by sex, residence, marital status, age group, education level, and geographic region over 5 waves from 2011 to 2020. The calculation of the prevalence rate is the cumulative number of cases divided by the total number of participants followed up per year. To achieve the second study aim, a chi-square test was initially performed to identify potential risk factors among the 4 groups.
