Construction of the formative questions with relevant answering alternatives and constructive feedback was based on the principles developed by Glassey and Bälter [27] (Textbox 1).
Next, the program designers compiled the digital learning material in the form of short texts, images, simulations, short videos, and working examples to support the learning process, ensuring that the participants could answer the formative questions.
