Integrating Mobile Health App Data Into Electronic Medical or Health Record Systems and Its Impact on Health Care Delivery and Patient Health Outcomes: Scoping Review

Integrating Mobile Health App Data Into Electronic Medical or Health Record Systems and Its Impact on Health Care Delivery and Patient Health Outcomes: Scoping Review

Key features of m Health apps and EMR/EHR systems were summarized and visualized as a bar chart using R version 4.4.0 (R Core Team 2017, Vienna, Austria). A total of 1790 studies were identified from 7 databases (Figure 1). After removing duplicates, 810 were screened based on and titles and abstracts, resulting in the exclusion of 725 studies that did not meet the inclusion criteria. The remaining 85 studies underwent a full-text review, and 18 studies were deemed eligible.

Feasibility of Collecting and Linking Digital Phenotyping, Clinical, and Genetics Data for Mental Health Research: Pilot Observational Study

There were no significant associations between symptoms and dropout (all t.05) or diary adherence and engagement (all r.05) (see Tables S5 and S6 in Multimedia Appendix 1 for statistics). The Mobigene pilot study demonstrated that it was feasible to collect and link new data from an existing cohort that had already participated in extensive data collection procedures.

Evaluating Effectiveness of mHealth Apps for Older Adults With Diabetes: Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

Evaluating Effectiveness of mHealth Apps for Older Adults With Diabetes: Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

We computed the mean differences, accompanied by a 95% CI and effect sizes (Hedges g) in R (version 4.2.1; R Foundation), with the packages meta [36] and esc [37]. Data comprised studies reporting modifications in Hb A1c, FBG, and medication adherence, comparing baseline values to the conclusion of the study for both intervention and control groups. Hb A1c is the most important and most studied clinical outcome related to diabetes management [24].
