Public Perception of the Brain-Computer Interface Based on a Decade of Data on X: Mixed Methods Study

Public Perception of the Brain-Computer Interface Based on a Decade of Data on X: Mixed Methods Study

Words that are more opinion-based (eg, scary and amazing) have a higher subjectivity score, whereas words that are fact-based (eg, data and communication) have a lower subjectivity score. The threshold used in our study is a subjectivity score of 0.5. If the score is greater than or equal to 0.5, the post is labeled as “subjective,” otherwise the post is labeled as “objective.”

Perceptions of, Barriers to, and Facilitators of the Use of AI in Primary Care: Systematic Review of Qualitative Studies

They independently grouped similar codes to generate descriptive themes, reached a consensus through discussion, and consulted a third author (VM-V) when necessary. This phase was conducted from a descriptive and inductive stance, aiming to remain close to the participants’ discourses.

Effect of Whole-Body Electromyostimulation Training on Glycemic Control in People With Prediabetes: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial Study

Effect of Whole-Body Electromyostimulation Training on Glycemic Control in People With Prediabetes: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial Study

A bipolar electric current with a frequency of 85 Hz and an impulse width of 350 microseconds is used in an interval approach with 6 seconds of EMS stimulation with a direct impulse boost and 4 seconds of rest. During the 6-second stimulation period, low-effort movements are performed in a standing position. The intensity of the EMS will be regulated on the basis of the individual’s reported Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) and the Borg Category Ratio Scale (Borg-CR10) [14].

Each visit includes a physical and neurological consultation by pediatric oncologists, a neuromotor assessment by a physiotherapist, and limited blood tests for children exposed to chemotherapy in utero (with consent). Cardiac screening is added in case of anthracycline exposure; and nephrological and audiological assessment, after platinum-based exposure.

Integrating Mobile Health App Data Into Electronic Medical or Health Record Systems and Its Impact on Health Care Delivery and Patient Health Outcomes: Scoping Review

Integrating Mobile Health App Data Into Electronic Medical or Health Record Systems and Its Impact on Health Care Delivery and Patient Health Outcomes: Scoping Review

Over the past decade, significant progress has been made in developing interoperability frameworks that have the capacity to connect m Health solutions with electronic medical record (EMR, defined as a digital version of a patient’s medical chart within a single health care facility) or electronic health record (EHR, defined as a comprehensive digital record of a patient’s health that can be shared across multiple health care providers and facilities) systems [7-9].

If a participant refuses participation, no further contact will be made. If signed informed consent forms are completed, a note will be made in the Edward Hines Jr VA Hospital electronic medical record (EMR), and the original consent form will be kept in a locked cabinet in a locked research office behind swipe-access doors. Copies of the signed consent forms will be provided to the Edward Hines Jr VA Hospital IRB office. In addition, a copy will be provided to the participant.

Feasibility of Collecting and Linking Digital Phenotyping, Clinical, and Genetics Data for Mental Health Research: Pilot Observational Study

Feasibility of Collecting and Linking Digital Phenotyping, Clinical, and Genetics Data for Mental Health Research: Pilot Observational Study

Daily diaries are a special form of ESM in which assessments only occur once per day, typically within a prespecified time window [8]. There is evidence that digital phenotyping data can correlate with, classify, and predict mental health problems including depression and anxiety [10-17]. To our knowledge, no previous studies have linked newly collected smartphone-based digital phenotyping data with existing genetic data in mental health research.

Acceptance-Based Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Intervention (ACTPrEP) to Engage Young Black Men Who Have Sex With Men in the Southern United States: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

While there has been a 34% decrease in new HIV infections among young men who have sex with men, decreases are not equitable among ethnic groups [10]. Young Black men who have sex with men had a 27% decrease, while young White men who have sex with men had a 45% decrease [10].

Social Media and Youth Mental Health: Scoping Review of Platform and Policy Recommendations

Social Media and Youth Mental Health: Scoping Review of Platform and Policy Recommendations

This exemplifies a generational disconnect where young people often cite important benefits of social media, whereas caregivers and other adults focus to a far greater extent on its potential harms. Exposure to harmful content and interactions on social media has increasingly been highlighted as a significant risk factor for young people’s mental health [2,23].
