Standard drinks were calculated from the selected drinks (1 standard drink=12 g of alcohol). A quantity-frequency index was calculated by multiplying drinking days by typical standard drinks per day and dividing by 30.
Frequency of smoking tobacco or using nicotine products in the previous 30 days was assessed, with response options including “(almost) daily,” “occasionally but not daily,” or “never.”
