Incentives and Trust Are the Main Drivers of Recruiting Participants in 6 African Countries via Web-Based Environments: A Vignette Survey Experiment

Sample size calculations were based on an approximated power analysis using an ANOVA design with repeated measures and within-between interaction, using the software G*Power [31] (input parameters: effect size=0.1, alpha error probability=0.05, power=0.95, number of groups=64, number of measurements=2, nonsphericity correction=1). To meet this minimum sample size requirement for every country, we aimed to achieve 1500 completed interviews per country.
