The enrollment rate was defined as the number of enrolled participants divided by the number of prescreened participants x 100. Completion rate was defined as the number of participants who completed the intervention divided by the number of participants who enrolled in the intervention x 100.

Using social media platforms such as Facebook (Meta), Craigslist, Google Ad Words, Instagram (Meta), and Twitter (subsequently rebranded X) for recruitment offered a potentially faster, more affordable, and efficient alternative to traditional recruitment methods of national samples.
