Temporal Dynamics of Subtle Cognitive Change: Validation of a User-Friendly Multidomain Digital Assessment Using an Alcohol Challenge

Temporal Dynamics of Subtle Cognitive Change: Validation of a User-Friendly Multidomain Digital Assessment Using an Alcohol Challenge

An alcohol challenge is used as an ethically acceptable method to induce well-characterized, clinically meaningful levels of cognitive dysfunction (target blood alcohol concentration [BAC%] 0.08-0.1). This BAC level slightly exceeds the UK drink-driving limit (0.08).

Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) for Population-Based Data Collection in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Opportunities, Challenges, and Solutions

Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) for Population-Based Data Collection in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Opportunities, Challenges, and Solutions

It provides researchers and data managers with an overview of the dataset, even for a single variable, at any time, allowing them to keep control over data quality. Electronic data capture also enables simultaneous data collection and management in multiple languages using a single tool and database, which is an advantage for large multi-country surveys.

Artificial Intelligence–Based Mobile Phone Apps for Child Mental Health: Comprehensive Review and Content Analysis

Artificial Intelligence–Based Mobile Phone Apps for Child Mental Health: Comprehensive Review and Content Analysis

This allows for a tailored intervention, optimizing the support offered based on an objective analysis of user data. Growing up in the digital era, children are inherently familiar with digital devices such as smartphones and tablets [12,13]. These tools offer an intuitive and user-friendly interface, eliminating complexities or abstract concepts and reducing potential barriers for younger users [13].

Detection of Depressive Symptoms in College Students Using Multimodal Passive Sensing Data and Light Gradient Boosting Machine: Longitudinal Pilot Study

Detection of Depressive Symptoms in College Students Using Multimodal Passive Sensing Data and Light Gradient Boosting Machine: Longitudinal Pilot Study

Consistent with a developmental psychopathology framework [10], this study examined the presence of depressive symptoms within a community sample of college students to develop and test an algorithm to predict depressive symptoms, and hence, risk for depressive disorders. The biopsychosocial model provides an integrative perspective that underscores the roles of different risk factors in predicting depression risk [11].

Components of a Digital Storytelling Intervention for Human Papillomavirus and Cancer Prevention Among LGBTQ+ Individuals: Formative Mixed Methods Inquiry

Components of a Digital Storytelling Intervention for Human Papillomavirus and Cancer Prevention Among LGBTQ+ Individuals: Formative Mixed Methods Inquiry

The World Health Organization identified complacency, inconvenience, and lack of confidence as several of the various factors that can influence an individual’s intention to become vaccinated. These factors, when not addressed, result in vaccine uncertainty or delayed vaccination and the overall undermining of public health efforts due to decreased vaccine coverage and an increased risk of disease outbreaks [8].

A Data-Driven Approach to Assessing Hepatitis B Mother-to-Child Transmission Risk Prediction Model: Machine Learning Perspective

A Data-Driven Approach to Assessing Hepatitis B Mother-to-Child Transmission Risk Prediction Model: Machine Learning Perspective

A decision tree is an effective support tool for engineers’ decision-making [3], using a tree model that illustrates decisions and their possible outcomes, including random outcomes, resource costs, and benefits. Based on published premise cluster analysis research, we set up a machine learning experiment. This research may help identify potential risk factors for MTCT. This study was conducted at a single center in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam.

Developing a Core Outcome Set for Pediatric and Adult Acute and Chronic Pain Extended Reality Trials: Delphi Consensus-Building Process

Developing a Core Outcome Set for Pediatric and Adult Acute and Chronic Pain Extended Reality Trials: Delphi Consensus-Building Process

VR transports the user to an alternative environment, whereas AR enhances an existing physical environment with additional virtual objects embedded in that real setting [11-14]. XR allows users to engage completely in immersive, gamified, and sensorial digital experiences.

Identifying Disinformation on the Extended Impacts of COVID-19: Methodological Investigation Using a Fuzzy Ranking Ensemble of Natural Language Processing Models

Identifying Disinformation on the Extended Impacts of COVID-19: Methodological Investigation Using a Fuzzy Ranking Ensemble of Natural Language Processing Models

The proposed method achieved an F1-score of 96.03%, which can significantly help classify misinformation in real time. The results also demonstrate the effectiveness of language models in distinguishing misinformation. The main contributions of this study are threefold.

Effects of Digital Sleep Interventions on Sleep Among College Students and Young Adults: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Effects of Digital Sleep Interventions on Sleep Among College Students and Young Adults: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

These include poor dietary habits, obesity [9], and an increased risk of mental health problems (eg, depression, suicidal behavior, and substance abuse) [10-13]. Furthermore, insufficient sleep adversely affects academic performance and may lead to a need for prolonged years of study [14]. Poor sleep in college students and young adults can also contribute to long-term sleep disturbances that may persist into adulthood [15].
