As a potential solution to increase PA in the workplace, this study designed and developed a persuasive m Health app called i GO that incorporates SDT. SDT was selected for its acknowledgment in PA research [36] and its capability to support an individual’s behavior by offering reinforcement of the 3 basic psychological needs: autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The design followed the user-centered design (UCD) process [37].
