Effect of a Tailored eHealth Physical Activity Intervention on Physical Activity and Depression During Postpartum: Randomized Controlled Trial (The Postpartum Wellness Study)

Effect of a Tailored eHealth Physical Activity Intervention on Physical Activity and Depression During Postpartum: Randomized Controlled Trial (The Postpartum Wellness Study)

In addition to usual postpartum care, participants randomized to the intervention group received access to Mom Zing (Klein Buendel), an e Health PA intervention tailored to postpartum individuals [35]. Mom Zing is an online library of 98 ten-minute exercise videos that was developed with and for postpartum individuals.

Self-Stigma in Adults Living With Chronic Skin Disease: Development of the HautKompass Web-Based Program and Pilot Test of Its Usability, Acceptability, and Feasibility

Self-Stigma in Adults Living With Chronic Skin Disease: Development of the HautKompass Web-Based Program and Pilot Test of Its Usability, Acceptability, and Feasibility

The Haut Kompass project, funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (01 GY2105), consists of 4 phases: (1) 2 systematic literature reviews, (2) development and pilot testing of the web-based intervention Haut Kompass, (3) a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention (trial registration: Clinical Trials.gov NCT06324695), and (4) implementation and dissemination. This study specifically addresses phase 2.

Evaluation of the Digital Support Tool Gro Health W8Buddy as Part of Tier 3 Weight Management Service: Observational Study

Evaluation of the Digital Support Tool Gro Health W8Buddy as Part of Tier 3 Weight Management Service: Observational Study

Given the established association between frequent weight tracking and improved weight loss outcomes, this component plays a key role in the intervention. Clinicians have real-time access to user-generated data, enabling them to monitor patient engagement and intervene when necessary. For example, clinicians can track which patients are completing education modules, logging meals, and tracking their weight.

Developing the MyCancerGene Digital Health Portal to Improve Patients’ Understanding of Germline Cancer Genetic Test Results: Development, User, and Usability Testing Study

Developing the MyCancerGene Digital Health Portal to Improve Patients’ Understanding of Germline Cancer Genetic Test Results: Development, User, and Usability Testing Study

At the time of development, there was not an easy pathway for this intervention (ie, My Cancer Gene) to integrate with the existing EHR. Furthermore, at the time of development, the use of My Penn Medicine, the institutional patient portal, was relatively limited and for messaging only.

Prescriptive Predictors of Mindfulness Ecological Momentary Intervention for Social Anxiety Disorder: Machine Learning Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trial Data

Prescriptive Predictors of Mindfulness Ecological Momentary Intervention for Social Anxiety Disorder: Machine Learning Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trial Data

A recent and brief app intervention explanation inspired the rationale for SM as a placebo control [103-105]. Our SM adaptation sought to mimic MEMI while excluding its theorized active therapeutic elements, including acceptance, breath retraining, open monitoring, mindfulness of temporary moments, and regular mindfulness practice.

The Healing Through Ongoing Psychological Empowerment Telehealth Intervention With Two Spirit, Transgender, and Nonbinary Clients of Color in the United States: Open Clinical Trial Feasibility and Implementation Analysis

The Healing Through Ongoing Psychological Empowerment Telehealth Intervention With Two Spirit, Transgender, and Nonbinary Clients of Color in the United States: Open Clinical Trial Feasibility and Implementation Analysis

The HOPE intervention was developed to integrate PRH in psychotherapy for 2 STNB clients who are people of color. Our intervention is grounded in the tenets of the PRH [11,12], and a web-based intervention aimed at reducing internalized transnegativity [13]. Initially, the training developed for this study was piloted with 100 therapists through a program evaluation study [21]. Based on feedback from this pilot, the training was adapted for the 9 therapists for this study.

A Brief Video-Based Intervention to Improve Digital Health Literacy for Individuals With Bipolar Disorder: Intervention Development and Results of a Single-Arm Quantitative Pilot Study

A Brief Video-Based Intervention to Improve Digital Health Literacy for Individuals With Bipolar Disorder: Intervention Development and Results of a Single-Arm Quantitative Pilot Study

One such intervention targeting people with serious mental illness is the 4-week Digital Opportunities for Outcomes in Recovery Services (DOORS) course [24]. However, the length and foundational content of this program (eg, basic smartphone functions) may not be suitable for all individuals with BD, given research showing people with BD have high levels of smartphone ownership [14] and higher digital health literacy than people with psychosis [25].

Prerequisites for Cost-Effective Home Blood Pressure Telemonitoring: Early Health Economic Analysis

Prerequisites for Cost-Effective Home Blood Pressure Telemonitoring: Early Health Economic Analysis

One of the perceived barriers to large-scale implementation is the lack of a clear reimbursement structure, which is related to a lack of evidence on the cost-effectiveness of this digital health intervention [9]. Clinical trials evaluating the effectiveness of HBPT often have limited follow-up durations [8]. Consequently, they only demonstrate short-term benefits on blood pressure control and do not capture the potential long-term advantages, such as reductions in cardiovascular (CV) events.

Effects of Integrating Wearable Activity Trackers With a Home-Based Multicomponent Exercise Intervention on Fall-Related Parameters and Physical Function in Older Adults: Randomized Controlled Trial

Effects of Integrating Wearable Activity Trackers With a Home-Based Multicomponent Exercise Intervention on Fall-Related Parameters and Physical Function in Older Adults: Randomized Controlled Trial

The use of activity trackers, either as the primary element or within a broader behavioral intervention, effectively increases physical activity participation [20]. Moreover, integrating activity trackers with traditional intervention components is more effective than using an activity tracker alone [21]. Despite these advancements, there is a lack of research on the integration of activity trackers with other multifaceted interventions for falls in older adults [22,23].

Podcasts in Mental, Physical, or Combined Health Interventions for Adults: Scoping Review

Of the 26 peer-reviewed published studies, only 7 (27%) conducted a podcast-only intervention [66-68,75,80,92,101,102]. The remaining 19 (73%) studies [41,45,64,70,71,73,77,83,86,88-90,100,103-105,107,108,110] used podcasts within a multicomponent intervention (Multimedia Appendix 5).
