Evaluation of Financial Support Workshops for Patients Under State Pension Age With Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy: Survey Study

Presession self-rated confidence levels were 5.11/10 (SD 2.73) rising to 8.00/10 (SD 2.62) after the session. The mean score of wanting further similar sessions was 8.67/10 (SD 2.87), with 56% (5/9) of participants wanting one-to-one sessions. For PIP, the average session usefulness rating was 10/10 (SD 0), with the desire for further sessions. Presession confidence levels were 4.43/10 (SD 1.76) rising to 9.57/10 (SD 0.49).

The Resilience of Attitude Toward Vaccination: Web-Based Randomized Controlled Trial on the Processing of Misinformation

The Resilience of Attitude Toward Vaccination: Web-Based Randomized Controlled Trial on the Processing of Misinformation

In addition to trust placed in the scientific community, confidence in vaccination itself would be a significant factor in the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines [17,18]; confidence is intricately intertwined with epistemic uncertainty, as communicating uncertainties stemming from incomplete (and still evolving) knowledge can impact the level of trust in factual information about both the pandemic and COVID-19 vaccines [19].

Deep Learning Analysis of COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy and Confidence Expressed on Twitter in 6 High-Income Countries: Longitudinal Observational Study

Deep Learning Analysis of COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy and Confidence Expressed on Twitter in 6 High-Income Countries: Longitudinal Observational Study

Thus, our study aimed to (1) monitor the national and subnational spatiotemporal trends in COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and confidence in 6 high-income countries during the entire pandemic period using deep learning analysis of Twitter data; (2) examine the disparities in vaccine hesitancy and confidence by country, manufacturer, and states within a country; and (3) identify the potential sociodemographic factors associated with the hesitancy and confidence in COVID-19 vaccination.

COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Among Patients Recovered From COVID-19 Infection in Wuhan, China: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Among Patients Recovered From COVID-19 Infection in Wuhan, China: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

Previous studies demonstrated that complacency, convenience, and confidence were equally significant factors influencing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy [30-32]. Given the lack of data on COVID-19 vaccination status among COVID-19–recovered patients infected with the original SARS-Co V-2 strain in China, the aim of this study was to investigate COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy status and relevant factors among COVID-19–recovered patients.

A Digital Solution for an Advanced Breast Tumor Board: Pilot Application Cocreation and Implementation Study

A Digital Solution for an Advanced Breast Tumor Board: Pilot Application Cocreation and Implementation Study

The items assessed precisely were the level of satisfaction, the level of confidence in decision-making, and an open question on what would have driven any level change. This study was approved in October 2019 by the local data protection officer, on behalf of French regulatory authorities (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés), in accordance with the MR004 methodology (reference number: H001 – 002).

The Factors Associated With Confidence in Using the Internet to Access Health Information: Cross-sectional Data Analysis

The Factors Associated With Confidence in Using the Internet to Access Health Information: Cross-sectional Data Analysis

Existing studies suggest that there is an association between health confidence and health outcomes; patients with higher health confidence feel better, manage their conditions better, and save money on their treatment of care [1]. In this context, however, health confidence is an easy-to-measure proxy for patient engagement; it does not describe the health information-seeking experience. Health information access refers to one’s ability to retrieve health information when needed.

Calibrating a Transformer-Based Model’s Confidence on Community-Engaged Research Studies: Decision Support Evaluation Study

Calibrating a Transformer-Based Model’s Confidence on Community-Engaged Research Studies: Decision Support Evaluation Study

The authors mention the need for new interaction methods to increase this synergetic complementary performance beyond simply showing an AI system’s confidence; nonetheless, we present confidence scores in our study to find a pattern or threshold between correct predictions with high confidence and incorrect predictions with low confidence.

Understanding Drivers of Vaccine Hesitancy During the COVID-19 Pandemic Among Older Adults in Jiangsu Province, China: Cross-sectional Survey

Understanding Drivers of Vaccine Hesitancy During the COVID-19 Pandemic Among Older Adults in Jiangsu Province, China: Cross-sectional Survey

The scale of confidence included 2 parts: confidence in the vaccine and confidence in health care workers and vaccine manufacturers [10]. The first part included 4 items [32]: “I think the vaccine is safe/effective/ important” and “I believe that the full chain of vaccine management is safe and effective.”

Assessing COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy, Confidence, and Public Engagement: A Global Social Listening Study

Assessing COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy, Confidence, and Public Engagement: A Global Social Listening Study

To ensure universal vaccination coverage, governments must enhance public confidence, address the issue of vaccine hesitancy, and design community engagement strategies for COVID-19 vaccine rollouts. Although immunization has proved successful in reducing the global burden of illness and death, a range of concerns have converged to affect public confidence in vaccines.

Evolution of Bystander Intention to Perform Resuscitation Since Last Training: Web-Based Survey

Evolution of Bystander Intention to Perform Resuscitation Since Last Training: Web-Based Survey

The third and last dimension, control beliefs, is the confidence in one’s own ability to perform resuscitation [8,9]. In Switzerland, the rates of successful OHCA resuscitation vary from 10% to 17% [1,11]. These rates are not as high as could be expected given the rather high proportion of people having followed a CPR training course, which is mandatory to obtain a driving license in this country.
