We know from an earlier study by Siemer et al [21] that patients would have preferred to use a smartphone app instead of a web platform, for example, or that they would have liked to be free to choose the ratio and sequence of F2 F and web-based interventions. A major limitation of this study was the high dropout rate at several follow-up time points, resulting in many missing values for both self-reported and biochemical measures, which had a major impact on the ITT analysis.
