The ACT model of psychological flexibility in the center of this diagram is adapted from Hayes et al [16] and the GEP model is based on the CHAMP intervention research project previously conducted by authors Li, Fung, and Wong [17-19]. ACT is a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral intervention that has empirical support for its use in common mental disorders including mood and anxiety disorders, and psychosis [20-24].
