The algorithm is described in Shih et al [31].
The gameful UI with biofeedback was created using the Unity game engine (version 2019.1.8). All models were designed and animated using 3 D modeling software Blender.
A pilot study was conducted to assess how Breeze was perceived (qualitative questions) and whether it reached a physiological response comparable with that of the standard breathing training (physiological measurements).
