Optimization of Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Canadian Leaders Within Public Safety: Qualitative Study

For example, Mc Call et al [26] found that PSPs prefer therapist-guided ICBT that is delivered within a flexible timeframe for course completion and with a choice of communication modes with their assigned therapist. Some leaders also remarked on their appreciation that PSPNET is free and confidential with the accessibility option of audio narratives. To further optimize ICBT delivery, leaders generally recommended improving the platform technology and adding audiovisual content.

Initial Outcomes of Transdiagnostic Internet-Delivered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Tailored to Public Safety Personnel: Longitudinal Observational Study

The study objectives were to evaluate the initial (a) effectiveness, (b) treatment satisfaction and working alliance, and (c) program usage patterns of the PSP Wellbeing Course. We hypothesized high completion rates, high satisfaction, and moderate to large effect sizes for symptom change. This study is the first, as far as we are aware, to evaluate the tailored ICBT approach for treating mental health problems among PSP.
