Prevention Needs and Target Behavior Preferences in an App-Based Addiction Prevention Program for German Vocational School Students: Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

For those who reported consumption, details of the type of drink, the number of drinks consumed on a typical day, and the day with the most alcoholic drinks consumed in the last month were collected using a digital bar displaying common portion sizes (eg, 0.5-L beer or 2-c L shot). Standard drinks were calculated from the selected drinks (1 standard drink=12 g of alcohol). A quantity-frequency index was calculated by multiplying drinking days by typical standard drinks per day and dividing by 30.
