Craig et al [7] suggested using digital EMR-aligned paper-based data collection forms to help bridge workflows during the transition from paper to digital record keeping. Harrison et al [33] added that a paper-based workflow during the transition could reassure staff that their jobs will not be replaced or drastically changed after the adoption of a digital system.
