That is, as of April 2025, the online survey with persons affected with mental illnesses and related stigma (n=335), four focus group discussions with persons affected with mental illnesses and related stigma (n=37), and two group interviews with community leaders and community service providers (n=19) have been completed. All audio recordings have been transcribed and preliminary data analysis is currently ongoing.
Plans are far advanced to start recruitment for phases 3 and 4.

(B) The overall enrolled demographic breakdown of self-identified race/ethnicity was 275 (77.9%) non-Hispanic White, 19 (5.4%) Hispanic White, 15 (4.2%) Black, 18 (5.1%) Asian, 1 (0.3%) American Indian, 16 (4.5%) more than one race, and 9 (2.5%) unknown. The greatest enrollment diversity came from referrals, with 15 (36%) identifying as non-White. Google Ads followed with an enrollment diversity of 20 (33%) non-White participants.

The ECHO sessions were held approximately monthly between August 2022 and April 2023, excluding December 2022 and January 2023 due to holidays and shortened clinical schedules (Figure 1 and Multimedia Appendix 2). Every ECHO session comprised a presession knowledge quiz, introduction, didactic presentation by domain experts, a case presentation by health care workers at an HTN Program site, a postsession knowledge quiz, and a reaction survey.

Student participants will be recruited through standard intake procedures at each UCC site from August and September 2022 to April and May 2024. As part of these procedures, all students seeking services are assessed for SI. Students who meet study eligibility criteria are offered the opportunity to meet with a member of the research team to learn more about the study and complete the informed consent process.

(B) Top-down view of the electrography electrode positions on the subject’s head according to the 10-20 system, standard for electrography recordings. The device includes two forehead electrodes (AF7 and AF8), reference electrodes at FPz, and conductive rubber ear sensors at TP9 and TP10. The FPz electrode serves as a reference point and is positioned at the midline of the forehead.
