Patients’ Perspectives on Plans Generated During Primary Care Visits and Self-Reported Adherence at 3 Months: Data From a Randomized Trial

Patients’ Perspectives on Plans Generated During Primary Care Visits and Self-Reported Adherence at 3 Months: Data From a Randomized Trial

Cross-tabulation and chi-square statistics were used to examine the bivariate associations between patients’ initial postvisit ratings of their plan and reported plan adherence approximately 3 months later. We also examined the association between the type of plan and plan adherence. We also examined the association between the type of plan and plan adherence. Significance values were adjusted by the Bonferroni corrections for multiple comparisons for the various types of plans.

Building on Existing Classifications of Behavior Change Techniques to Classify Planned Coping Strategies: Physical Activity Diary Study

Building on Existing Classifications of Behavior Change Techniques to Classify Planned Coping Strategies: Physical Activity Diary Study

When it comes to plan characteristics, some studies have found that instrumentality and high specificity are important for behavior change [20,21]. Others found that formulating the plan around a specific contextual cue, such as starting an activity after another one was finished, while allowing flexibility in other plan aspects is beneficial [22,23].

Returning to a Normal Life via COVID-19 Vaccines in the United States: A Large-scale Agent-Based Simulation Study

Returning to a Normal Life via COVID-19 Vaccines in the United States: A Large-scale Agent-Based Simulation Study

The carrying capacities and growth rates as functions of vaccine compliance and efficacies for each vaccination plan are provided in Multimedia Appendices 1-4. In this paper, we focused on the adjusted growth rate in Figures 7 and 8 for the two federal plans, 6 scenarios (including 5 nonpharmaceutical interventions), and by varying vaccine efficacy and compliance.

Interdisciplinary Online Hackathons as an Approach to Combat the COVID-19 Pandemic: Case Study

Interdisciplinary Online Hackathons as an Approach to Combat the COVID-19 Pandemic: Case Study

The main benefit is reflected in the holistic and complementary nature of each hack, often embracing different disciplines and resulting in outstanding solutions and pitches with a strong technical background (software or hardware); addressing health-related challenges pragmatically; and putting the whole idea into a well-polished business plan. On those grounds, the recruitment of expert mentors takes place depending on the scope of the hackathon.

The Effect of a Name-Based Mask Rationing Plan in Taiwan on Public Anxiety Regarding a Mask Shortage During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Observational Study

The Effect of a Name-Based Mask Rationing Plan in Taiwan on Public Anxiety Regarding a Mask Shortage During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Observational Study

We summarize here the strategies undertaken by the government of Taiwan, as well as details of the name-based mask rationing plan, taken from the website of the Centers for Disease Control, Taiwan (CDC) [5]. As the face mask production rate increased, the rationing plan evolved over time. To investigate the potentially psychogenic impacts of the mask plan, we also conducted a simple survey with a 5-point scale questionnaire that aimed to investigate the overall response to the mask rationing plan.
