A Digital Lifestyle App for Hypertension During Pregnancy: Mixed Methods Intervention Development Study Using the Person-Based Approach

A recent systematic review identified no studies that specifically developed and tested lifestyle interventions to support healthy lifestyle behaviors for women who have chronic hypertension, who may benefit the most from lifestyle modification [3]. Since this is an important population at risk of poor pregnancy experiences and outcomes, a clear gap in the literature exists, which this study aims to start addressing.

Effects of Therapeutic Ultrasound and Aussie Current With High-Intensity Interval Training on Abdominal Adiposity in Young Adults With Overweight and Obesity: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Lifestyle modification is the most recommended approach for treating and preventing obesity at any stage of life [2]. In addition to exercise and a controlled diet, noninvasive techniques have emerged as safe and effective tools for managing adipose tissue [3,4]. These techniques include different electrophysical agents, such as low-intensity laser [5], cryotherapy [6], radiofrequency [7], infrared radiation [8], and therapeutic ultrasound (TUS) [4,9].

Prerequisites for Cost-Effective Home Blood Pressure Telemonitoring: Early Health Economic Analysis

Despite lifestyle and drug therapy interventions, a significant proportion of patients with hypertension remains inadequately controlled, which is mostly the result of poor medication adherence [2]. Home blood pressure telemonitoring (HBPT) has been proposed to improve adherence [2,3] by allowing patients to measure their blood pressure at home while being remotely monitored by their health care providers.

Mobile Health Interventions for Modifying Indigenous Maternal and Child–Health Related Behaviors: Systematic Review

Mobile Health Interventions for Modifying Indigenous Maternal and Child–Health Related Behaviors: Systematic Review

There are very few studies that have reported the benefits of culturally responsive m Health interventions specifically developed to support healthy lifestyle choices for Indigenous women [17,22,23]. Research that fails to consult with Indigenous communities has been shown to provide little benefit [10]. Applying homogenized, mainstream health interventions risks perpetuating inequities, hindering engagement, and discounting the legacy of historical atrocities [24].
