Acceptability of and Willingness to Use Virtual Reality Exergames for Weight Loss Among Young Adults With Overweight or Obesity in China: Qualitative Study

Acceptability of and Willingness to Use Virtual Reality Exergames for Weight Loss Among Young Adults With Overweight or Obesity in China: Qualitative Study

Researchers systematically reviewed the transcripts, examining each sentence to gain a deeper understanding of the data and to ensure immersion before coding. The thematic analysis method described by Braun and Clarke [20] was adopted, including 6 steps totally, that is, familiarizing yourself with data, creating original codes, developing initial themes, reviewing themes, defining and naming themes, and preparing reports. Thus, we thematically analyzed the deidentified transcripts after coding.

Adapting a Text Messaging Intervention to Improve Diabetes Medication Adherence in a Spanish-Speaking Population: Qualitative Study

Adapting a Text Messaging Intervention to Improve Diabetes Medication Adherence in a Spanish-Speaking Population: Qualitative Study

REACH could serve as an important clinical tool to address barriers to diabetes medication adherence among Latino adults with T2 D. In this study, we used a multistage, stakeholder-driven, iterative method of language adaptation to adapt the original REACH barrier content to a Latino, Spanish-speaking population with T2 D, focusing on identifying barriers to diabetes medication adherence of relevance to this population.

Perspectives and Experiences With Large Language Models in Health Care: Survey Study

Perspectives and Experiences With Large Language Models in Health Care: Survey Study

For example, LLMs to draft responses to patient messages, create structured medical notes of physician-patient interactions, provide clinical decision support, screen and enroll research participants, and enhance learning and education are only a few areas where LLMs are being applied in health care [7,9,11-17]. While the promise of LLMs in health care is substantial, it is also essential to understand their utility and challenges in real-world scenarios.

Factors Influencing Educators’ Perspectives on Accepting Extended Reality in Health Care Education: Qualitative Study

Factors Influencing Educators’ Perspectives on Accepting Extended Reality in Health Care Education: Qualitative Study

XR technologies, particularly in emergency medicine, enable remote clinical skill development, even amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19 [33]. Li and Keskitalo [35] emphasized that XR technology is commonly used in health care education for safe treatments, communication, and decision-making. It supports 5 cognitive-processing dimensions: remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, and evaluating. AR, VR, and MR can positively impact medical education.

Improving Accessibility for Work Opportunities for Adults With Autism in an End-to-End Supported Workplace Program: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Cohort Study

Improving Accessibility for Work Opportunities for Adults With Autism in an End-to-End Supported Workplace Program: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Cohort Study

In addition, adults with autism will be offered mentoring sessions with an independent mental health-focused clinical psychologist and autism workplace specialist, who can provide more specialized workplace mentoring, mental health support, and career advice should it be required. Should this be required, support will be provided by a clinical psychologist working in the laboratory of the CAN Research but independently from this specific research study.
