Identifying People Living With or Those at Risk for HIV in a Nationally Sampled Electronic Health Record Repository Called the National Clinical Cohort Collaborative: Computational Phenotyping Study

While these previous studies have performed computational phenotyping of HIV on smaller cohorts, with data or validation often limited to a single institution or health system, one study [23], conducted with All of Us data, has included additional complexity such as self-reporting of medical conditions, which is not always feasible with large datasets [22-26].

Exploring Service Users’ Experiences of a Community-Based Intervention to Improve Follow-Up at Bharatpur Eye Hospital in Nepal: Qualitative Study

Nepal’s National Health Policy 2019 recommends the development and expansion of eye care services through public-private partnerships in all 3 tiers of primary care provided through the government health systems. It provides guidance on the integration of primary eye care with primary health care and the coordination of eye care programs by a dedicated eye unit at the federal ministry of health [1].

Efficient Online Recruitment of Patients With Depressive Symptoms Using Social Media: Cross-Sectional Observational Study

Efficient Online Recruitment of Patients With Depressive Symptoms Using Social Media: Cross-Sectional Observational Study

Analysis of online recruitment channels showed that Tik Tok, in particular, targeted younger audiences and could be used strategically to attract a younger sample. An argument in favor of using social media recruitment in mental health studies is an observed correlation between time spent on social media (r=0.11), addictive use (r=0.29), and depressive symptoms [43], as well as anxiety, low sleep quality, and reduced self-esteem in adolescents.

Educational Needs in Geriatric Medicine Among Health Care Professionals and Medical Students in COST Action 21122 PROGRAMMING: Mixed-Methods Survey Protocol

Educational Needs in Geriatric Medicine Among Health Care Professionals and Medical Students in COST Action 21122 PROGRAMMING: Mixed-Methods Survey Protocol

In a few countries, such as Belgium, France, Portugal, and Finland, the MC members contacted the stakeholders directly without the help of the Eu GMS secretariat. In parallel, in all countries, WG 1 and WG 5 encouraged dissemination through social media and professional contacts (Figure 4). In December 2023, WG 1 and WG 5 held a webinar on the potential strategies for dissemination of the survey with approximately 30 PROGRAMMING members.

The Effectiveness of the Be Prepared mHealth App on Recovery of Physical Functioning After Major Elective Surgery: Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial

The Effectiveness of the Be Prepared mHealth App on Recovery of Physical Functioning After Major Elective Surgery: Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial

The first version of the Be Prepared app has proven potential in a pilot study in terms of usability, patient satisfaction, and modifying risk behavior prior to surgery [15]. Several points of improvement were identified in this pilot study and have been addressed as part of the further development of the app prior to this study. These included expanding the preoperative content, extending the content postoperatively, and further personalization of the Be Prepared app [15].

Mobile Therapeutic Attention for Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia (m-RESIST) Solution for Improving Clinical and Functional Outcomes in Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia: Prospective, Multicenter Efficacy Study

Mobile Therapeutic Attention for Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia (m-RESIST) Solution for Improving Clinical and Functional Outcomes in Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia: Prospective, Multicenter Efficacy Study

Digitally delivered psychological therapies, the use of social media, virtual reality, and chatbots are also digital solutions that may have a role in the treatment of those with schizophrenia [42,43]. Digital phenotyping and machine learning, virtual reality interventions, and language models, with Chat GPT, as a well-known example, have developed in recent years [42,43].

Effect of Early Treatment of Spasticity After Stroke on Motor Recovery: Protocol for the Baclotox Multicenter, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy Randomized Controlled Trial

Effect of Early Treatment of Spasticity After Stroke on Motor Recovery: Protocol for the Baclotox Multicenter, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy Randomized Controlled Trial

Because of the different modes of administration of these treatments, each group receives both an injection and oral tablets. The study therefore comprises three arms: (1) a “toxin” group treated with an injection of botulinum toxin and placebo oral baclofen; (2) a “baclofen” group treated with oral baclofen and an injection of placebo botulinum toxin; and (3) a double “placebo” group treated with placebo oral baclofen and an injection of placebo botulinum toxin.

Telehealth Initiative to Enhance Primary Care Access in Brazil (UBS+Digital Project): Multicenter Prospective Study

Telehealth Initiative to Enhance Primary Care Access in Brazil (UBS+Digital Project): Multicenter Prospective Study

The digital health initiatives of the HCFMUSP in PHC began in 2021, driven by the need to address persistent challenges in this health care sector. A collaborative initiative between the HCFMUSP and the UK Government’s Better Health Program developed a Digital PHC proof of concept. This initiative focused on implementing telemedicine service in Santarem, Pará, Brazil, due to the lack of health care services in remote areas.
