Effects of a 20-Week High-Intensity Strength Training Program on Muscle Strength Gain and Cardiac Adaptation in Untrained Men: Preliminary Results of a Prospective Longitudinal Study

The program involved 3 training sessions per week for a duration of 20 weeks, from January to June 2022, and was conducted in a dedicated weightlifting room equipped for the study protocol. The training sessions were supervised by sports science graduates and were limited to a maximum of 15 participants at the same time. The weightlifting room was dedicated to the protocol every evening of the week from 6 PM to 10 PM.
