Implementation and Evaluation of a Therapeutic Communication Educational Program for Nurses: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Study

Implementation and Evaluation of a Therapeutic Communication Educational Program for Nurses: Protocol for a Mixed Methods Study

While various communication training programs exist, there is limited research on the effectiveness of short, blended-learning approaches that integrate virtual reality (VR)-based experiential learning to enhance therapeutic communication. This study aims to address this gap by evaluating the impact of a one-day blended-learning therapeutic communication training program.

Leveraging Digital Twins for Stratification of Patients with Breast Cancer and Treatment Optimization in Geriatric Oncology: Multivariate Clustering Analysis

Leveraging Digital Twins for Stratification of Patients with Breast Cancer and Treatment Optimization in Geriatric Oncology: Multivariate Clustering Analysis

In contrast, chemotherapy protocols for HER2-negative cases remained consistent during the treatment period of the patients included in this study, ensuring uniformity in therapeutic strategies and outcomes across the cohort. The research concentrated on the 5-year survival rates, selecting only those who had at least 5 years of follow-up and whose vital status information was available. The database was constructed using Con Sore, a data-mining application developed by UNICANCER [27].

Expectations of Intensive Care Physicians Regarding an AI-Based Decision Support System for Weaning From Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy: Predevelopment Survey Study

Expectations of Intensive Care Physicians Regarding an AI-Based Decision Support System for Weaning From Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy: Predevelopment Survey Study

Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly machine learning (ML), have facilitated the development of diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic decision-making aids known as clinical decision support systems (CDSS). These AI-based CDSS have demonstrated potential across several domains in ICU, including sepsis prediction, early detection of patient deterioration, and management of mechanical ventilation [2-4].

The Effectiveness of Digital Animation–Based Multistage Education for Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Catheter Ablation: Randomized Clinical Trial

The Effectiveness of Digital Animation–Based Multistage Education for Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Catheter Ablation: Randomized Clinical Trial

Currently, catheter ablation has progressively emerged as the primary therapeutic approach for rhythm control in AF, owing to its potential to mitigate AF episodes and enhance patients’ Qo L [3,5]. However, the efficacy of catheter ablation in reducing AF remains uncertain with regard to its impact on patients’ Qo L.

Virtual Reality Interventions and Chronic Pain: Scoping Review

Virtual Reality Interventions and Chronic Pain: Scoping Review

Immersion produced through VR can facilitate the delivery of health interventions by isolating participants from distractors and stressors in a therapeutic environment [9]. VR interventions have demonstrated efficacy for more than a decade for mood and anxiety disorders [10,11], and emerging evidence suggests they can reduce pain symptoms in both acute and chronic pain [12-15].

Influence of Partnership Relationships on Long-Term Neurological Rehabilitation in Germany: Protocol for a Qualitative Retrospective Study

Influence of Partnership Relationships on Long-Term Neurological Rehabilitation in Germany: Protocol for a Qualitative Retrospective Study

The therapeutic relationship significantly influences the rehabilitation process of neurological diseases and is of paramount importance [14,15]. Family caregivers play a central role in providing care, therapy, and social support, particularly in the case of lifelong disability due to acquired neurological damage [16]. According to recent international studies, the psychosocial effects of neurological damage have already been described for patients [12,17] and family caregivers of affected persons [18].

The Physical and Psychological Effects of Telerehabilitation-Based Exercise for Patients With Nonspecific Low Back Pain: Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial

The Physical and Psychological Effects of Telerehabilitation-Based Exercise for Patients With Nonspecific Low Back Pain: Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial

Their investigation revealed superior therapeutic outcomes within the digital care program group compared to the control group [19]. In Germany, Toelle et al [19] developed the Kaia app (Kaia Health Corp) specifically designed for patients with NLBP. Results indicated that individuals receiving exercise guidance through the Kaia app exhibited significant pain relief and improvements in physical function compared to the control group [19].

Descriptions of Scientific Evidence and Uncertainty of Unproven COVID-19 Therapies in US News: Content Analysis Study

Descriptions of Scientific Evidence and Uncertainty of Unproven COVID-19 Therapies in US News: Content Analysis Study

If multiple therapeutics were discussed in a single report, the codebook was applied to each therapeutic. We randomly sampled a total of 550 news reports from our population to manage coder effort while allowing the capture of codes and themes among news reports. After random sampling, reports without substantial discussion of the COVID-19 therapeutic were excluded if they failed to satisfy codes 7-16 of the codebook (n=72).
