Following the guidance for the clinical management of COVID-19 from the World Health Organization (November 23, 2021) and the latest advice on the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 from the Ministry of Health (article number 250/QD-BYT) [8], an asymptomatic group was added to the classification of COVID-19 disease severity, in addition to the 4 groups of mild, moderate, severe, and critical. In our study, there were 1098 mild patients, 386 moderate patients, and 203 severe patients.

Serious mental illness is used to refer to schizophrenia-spectrum illness, bipolar disorder, or severe major depressive disorder.
