A Digital Pornography Education Prototype Co-Designed With Young People: Formative Evaluation

A Digital Pornography Education Prototype Co-Designed With Young People: Formative Evaluation

This paper reports on the testing and evaluation phase of the human-centered design process, which is part of an iterative cycle of prototyping, testing, and refining. The insights from this evaluation phase will be used to further refine and develop The Gist prototype for improved application. The key evaluation questions were: (1) is The Gist usable and accessible for young people?, (2) is The Gist desirable and relevant to young people?, (3) is The Gist inclusive and safe for young people?

Developing Game-Based Design for eHealth in Practice: 4-Phase Game Design Process

Developing Game-Based Design for eHealth in Practice: 4-Phase Game Design Process

These four phases were as follows: End-user research phase—investigation of game preferences of the end user and specifications from the use context of the envisioned app Conceptualization phase—addressing system and app architecture and the conceptual development of long-term engaging game content suitable for the end user Game design phase—performing the creative and constructive processes Refinement phase—prototyping and user evaluations Each of these phases is discussed as if it had occurred chronologically

An Individualized Postoperative Pain Risk Communication Tool for Use in Pediatric Surgery: Co-Design and Usability Evaluation

An Individualized Postoperative Pain Risk Communication Tool for Use in Pediatric Surgery: Co-Design and Usability Evaluation

Furthermore, we did not use a dynamic prototyping tool in our co-design sessions with participants working collaboratively on a shared resource, which may have enhanced the design process; in pilot-testing, this had been found to be a barrier to participation.
