Preliminary Feasibility of a Novel Mind-Body Program to Prevent Persistent Concussion Symptoms Among Young Adults With Anxiety: Nonrandomized Open Pilot Study

Preliminary Feasibility of a Novel Mind-Body Program to Prevent Persistent Concussion Symptoms Among Young Adults With Anxiety: Nonrandomized Open Pilot Study

Nevertheless, to date, there are no mind-body interventions developed specifically for young adults with a recent concussion and anxiety, who are at risk for symptom persistence and unique challenges [5] with unique treatment needs and preferences [16]. To address this gap, we developed the Toolkit for Optimal Recovery after Concussion (TOR-C), a 4-session mind-body program delivered over live video aiming to prevent persistent concussion symptoms in young adults with co-occurring anxiety.

Comparison of Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 30 Persistence Between Inorganic and Organic Sunscreen in Swimmers: Protocol for a Multicenter, Randomized, Noninferiority, Split-Body, Double-Blind Clinical Trial

Comparison of Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 30 Persistence Between Inorganic and Organic Sunscreen in Swimmers: Protocol for a Multicenter, Randomized, Noninferiority, Split-Body, Double-Blind Clinical Trial

Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the persistence of sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) 30 used by swimmers after 1.5 hours. First, this study aims to assess whether inorganic sunscreen is as good as organic sunscreen in the field of the persistence of sunscreens after swimming for 1.5 hours. SPF of inorganic and organic sunscreens will be calculated before and after swimming training. The difference between those times will be measured and compared.

Latin America and the Caribbean SARS-CoV-2 Surveillance: Longitudinal Trend Analysis

Latin America and the Caribbean SARS-CoV-2 Surveillance: Longitudinal Trend Analysis

The 7-day persistence metric identifies the impact of the 7-day lag of speed on the current value of speed. New cases from 7 days prior have an echo effect, which impacts the current number of cases. Table 6 shows the countries with the highest 7-day persistence, which refers to the number of new cases reported per 100,000 population as of this writing, which is a result of new cases reported 7 days prior.

Patterns and Predictors of Adherence to Statin Therapy Among Older Patients: Protocol for a Systematic Review

Patterns and Predictors of Adherence to Statin Therapy Among Older Patients: Protocol for a Systematic Review

In light of this reality, a systematic review that seeks to explore issues of adherence and persistence specific to the older population is necessary to: (1) identify relevant barriers, (2) compare the level of adherence and persistence relative to statin indication (primary or secondary prevention), and (3) inform the design of appropriate interventions.

Commencing and Persisting With a Web-Based Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Insomnia: A Qualitative Study of Treatment Completers

Commencing and Persisting With a Web-Based Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Insomnia: A Qualitative Study of Treatment Completers

Of particular interest are the ways in which patients are able to adhere to intervention techniques provided by the program with respect to timing, dose, and frequency (adherence), and the duration of time in which they are able to actively engage with therapy from initiation until discontinuation (persistence) [17]. Qualitative studies have implicated personal, design, and environmental factors associated with adherence and persistence to CCBT for both depression [18] and insomnia [19].
