Several studies suggest that both cognitive and emotional processes are involved in perceived risk and perceived trust [37-41]. Emotions are proposed to guide decisions under risk, as demonstrated by the interdependence of emotions and risk in multiple works [38,41-44].
Perceived risk is typically associated with negative emotions [41,45,46].

Therefore, the objectives of this study were to (1) explore the perceived utility and trust in chatbot technology among healthy patients at risk of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer and (2) explore how interaction with a chatbot regarding information about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer influences the patients.
This project is a collaboration between all familial cancer centers in Norway, located in Bergen, Oslo, Trondheim, and Tromsø.
