Detailed Analysis and Road Map Proposal for Care Transition Records and Their Transmission Process: Mixed Methods Study

Detailed Analysis and Road Map Proposal for Care Transition Records and Their Transmission Process: Mixed Methods Study

The observations and inquiries were conducted by 2 researchers, one with a medical background and the other specializing in user-centered design, ensuring comprehensive documentation and minimizing potential biases. The field observations and the contextual inquiries followed the same protocol. Thematic analysis [39] was applied to the data, with the researchers collaboratively reviewing and coding field notes to identify relevant patterns that informed the process modeling.

A Combined Telemedicine and Ambulatory Wound Care Team Intervention for Improving Cross-Sector Outpatient Chronic Wound Management: Protocol for the Mixed Methods TELE-AMBUS Research Project

A Combined Telemedicine and Ambulatory Wound Care Team Intervention for Improving Cross-Sector Outpatient Chronic Wound Management: Protocol for the Mixed Methods TELE-AMBUS Research Project

To gain empirical insights into the process of implementing and operating the outpatient intervention, combining AWCT and telemedicine implementation and operation, individuals involved with the intervention will be asked to participate in research activities, including observations (ie, being observed by the researchers), semistructured interviews, and informal conversations. Combining observations with asking questions, including clarification questions, constitutes a contextual design approach [20].

Complex Hospital-Based Electronic Prescribing–Based Intervention to Support Antimicrobial Stewardship: Qualitative Study

Complex Hospital-Based Electronic Prescribing–Based Intervention to Support Antimicrobial Stewardship: Qualitative Study

Where feasible, we also conducted nonparticipant observations of e PAMS+ use (Textbox 3). This involved the researcher (SH) observing ward rounds and clinical discussions before and after these (including handovers). The researcher took notes during these meetings, including describing the setup, issues discussed in relation to AMS, and emerging tensions. We did not record any patient-specific data.

Understanding Older People’s Readiness for Receiving Telehealth: Mixed-Method Study

Understanding Older People’s Readiness for Receiving Telehealth: Mixed-Method Study

The observations were executed by the third author and by third-year bachelor’s degree-level students with backgrounds in nursing, health care management and Cesar exercise therapy. Before their observations, these students received training from our research team on how to perform observations. None of the observers were known to the participants before the observations being performed. All observations were discussed by our multidisciplinary research team.
