Within this data-rich landscape, “health portraits” have emerged as a novel framework to organize and interpret complex health data for precision health management [15].

Evaluation of Noninvasive Adjuncts for Early Detection of Oral Cancer in Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders and Development of Risk-Based Management Strategies: Protocol for a Prospective Longitudinal Study

Evaluation of Noninvasive Adjuncts for Early Detection of Oral Cancer in Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders and Development of Risk-Based Management Strategies: Protocol for a Prospective Longitudinal Study

A set of consensus guidelines have been published in 2022 for the management of OPMDs [12]. These guidelines have not been evaluated yet in the field settings. Since the first point of contact for the majority of the Indian population is the primary health center, the optimal evaluation and management strategies for various OPMDs need to be delineated for future implementation.

Size and Composition of Caregiver Networks Who Manage Medications for Persons Living With Dementia: Cross-Sectional Analysis of the 2011-2022 National Health and Aging Trends Study

Size and Composition of Caregiver Networks Who Manage Medications for Persons Living With Dementia: Cross-Sectional Analysis of the 2011-2022 National Health and Aging Trends Study

There are identified disparities in dementia diagnoses and medication management, dementia being more likely among Black and Hispanic persons [5], with family caregivers from historically minoritized racial and ethnic groups helping with medications at increased rates relative to non-Hispanic White caregivers [6,7]. Medication management of person living with dementia can be challenging and stressful for family caregivers [2,3,8].

Prerequisites for Cost-Effective Home Blood Pressure Telemonitoring: Early Health Economic Analysis

Prerequisites for Cost-Effective Home Blood Pressure Telemonitoring: Early Health Economic Analysis

The model included a hypothetical population of 1000 patients with an average age of 65.3 years and consisted of 12 health states: Standard of care (SOC) was based on the current practice of hypertension management in the Netherlands. The care provided via the hospital outpatient department (OPD) was based on the latest European Society of Hypertension guidelines on the management of arterial hypertension [24].

Development of a Risk Score to Aid With the Diagnosis of Infections After Spinal Cord Injury: Protocol for a Retrospective Cohort Study

Development of a Risk Score to Aid With the Diagnosis of Infections After Spinal Cord Injury: Protocol for a Retrospective Cohort Study

Persons with SCI often do not present with typical infection signs and symptoms (ie, dysuria, suprapubic pain, urinary frequency) due to lack of sensation and bladder management strategy. The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) guidelines include SCI-specific signs and symptoms such as increased spasticity and autonomic dysreflexia [18] in their decision algorithms for UTI diagnosis [19], but limited evidence on the sensitivity and specificity of these symptoms exists.

Evaluating Clinical Outcomes and Physician Adoption of Telemedicine for Chronic Disease Management: Population-Based Retrospective Cohort Study

Evaluating Clinical Outcomes and Physician Adoption of Telemedicine for Chronic Disease Management: Population-Based Retrospective Cohort Study

Chronic disease management via telemedicine has become significant in various fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, nephrology, and other areas where longitudinal metrics of patient data are essential for evaluating trends in quality measures (eg, hemoglobin A1c [Hb A1c] and serum creatinine) [2]. These findings align with other recent research that found telemedicine management to be at least as effective as in-person care in such fields [6-8].

Exploring Nonresponse to Botulinum Toxin in Aesthetics: Narrative Review of Key Trigger Factors and Effective Management Strategies

Exploring Nonresponse to Botulinum Toxin in Aesthetics: Narrative Review of Key Trigger Factors and Effective Management Strategies

We also explore management strategies for SNR. A narrative review was completed because a systematic review was not feasible due to the high heterogeneity among the articles on this topic. The Pub Med and Google Scholar databases were searched from inception. Key search terms included “botulinum toxin,” “nonresponse OR nonresponsiveness OR resistance OR failure,” “aesthetic OR cosmetic,” “prevention,” and “management OR treatment OR intervention.”

Effect of the Yon PD App on the Management of Self-Care in People With Parkinson Disease: Randomized Controlled Trial

Effect of the Yon PD App on the Management of Self-Care in People With Parkinson Disease: Randomized Controlled Trial

It also facilitates the enhancement of daily management strategies, thereby helping to prevent the exacerbation of disease symptoms [14]. According to Riegel and colleagues [15], self-care consists of 3 components: self-care maintenance, self-care monitoring, and self-care management. These 3 components are connected and work together concurrently. Self-care maintenance refers to behaviors that maintain health. Self-care monitoring involves observing for symptom changes.

Comparative Evaluation of Effectiveness of Standard of Care Alone and in Combination With Homoeopathic Treatment in COVID-19–Related Rhino-Orbito-Cerebral Mucormycosis (ROCM): Protocol for a Single Blind, Randomized Controlled Trial

Early detection, aggressive management of the underlying condition, surgical debridement, systemic and local antifungal treatments, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy significantly improve prognosis and survival rate [15]. The standard treatment for mucormycosis involves correcting diabetic ketoacidosis or other metabolic disturbances, daily irrigation and packing of the affected orbital and paranasal areas with amphotericin B, along with intravenous amphotericin B therapy [16].

Mobile Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes and Interactive Support During Breast and Prostate Cancer Treatment: Health Economic Evaluation From Two Randomized Controlled Trials

Mobile Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes and Interactive Support During Breast and Prostate Cancer Treatment: Health Economic Evaluation From Two Randomized Controlled Trials

Considering the results showing a smaller decline in quality of life among intervention group patients, these findings suggest that patients using the app receive timely and appropriate care, leading to more effective and prompt management of symptoms and adverse events associated with cancer treatment. This interpretation aligns with previously reported positive effects on health-related quality of life and symptom burden [11,19,20].
