Integrated treatment models, notably psychiatric collaborative care (Co CM), have emerged as sophisticated approaches in the treatment of complex patients who present with behavioral and physical health comorbidities [26,27,32]. Under these models, multifaceted care teams provide integrated, population-based, patient-centered behavioral and physical health care.

An integrated presentation brings together diverse data in a single visual representation, allowing users to view and analyze the data in a way that is interconnected, showing the links and relationships within the data (ie, between medication and allergies). Thus, holistic integrated visualizations combine both holistic and integrated approaches.

VA is the largest nationally integrated system in the United States, and a sweeping undertaking like the current EHR transition is an inherent matter of public interest. The EHR modernization has already affected—and will continue to affect—the ability of VA to provide high-quality, safe, and timely care to the veterans that it serves [15]. The transition also has direct implications for the morale and organizational commitment of VA’s considerable workforce.

We then tested an alternative strategy that used a PHC-based integrated health system.
Ethics board review was not required, as this study only involved modeling and simulations. All modeling data came from public sources or published papers and did not involve ethical issues.
System dynamics was applied in this study to simulate the mass infections and the health system performance in Shanghai.

We do not know how well SMS text messaging programs can be integrated into routine clinical care and whether they can be structured to support people with multiple chronic conditions.
Therefore, we sought to understand whether a healthy lifestyle self-management support SMS text messaging program can complement a health district–wide integrated care program in terms of its effect on clinical measures as well as patient engagement.

Integrated Personal Health Record in Indonesia: Design Science Research Study
Integrated PHRs can be an opportunity to improve access to and quality of health services in Indonesia by using IT [17].
As a technological solution for integrated PHRs in Indonesia, this study developed an integrated PHR architecture and prototype in Indonesia using the design science research (DSR) approach by Hevner et al [18]. The DSR approach was chosen in this study as the goal of DSR is to focus on designing systems that not only are practical but can also contribute to knowledge.

User Requirements for Comanaged Digital Health and Care: Review
In parallel, there is an increasing policy and practice imperative to shift the balance of care to communities and enable a system that supports person-centered, integrated, preventive, comanaged, and sustainable care [4,5]. Scotland’s strategy recognizes digital technology as a critical asset for delivering changes at scale [6].
In previous work, the authors have proposed that the digital health and social care tool set must help systems understand people’s lived experiences [7].

Following qualitative and quantitative data analyses, data were integrated to identify congruencies and discrepancies, allow for meta-inferences, and facilitate richness of data [29-32]. The results were illustrated with a joint display of quantitative predictors mapped to relevant qualitative themes and the resulting mixed method research inference.

In a previous study [11], we integrated patient-level clinical, demographic, and visit data with population-level social determinants of health measures to develop decision models that predicted patient need for behavioral health, dietitian, social work, or other wraparound service referrals. We also compared the performance of models built with and without population-level social determinants of health indicators.
