Community-Based 4-Level Intervention Targeting Depression and Suicidal Behavior in Europe: Protocol for an Implementation Project

Community-Based 4-Level Intervention Targeting Depression and Suicidal Behavior in Europe: Protocol for an Implementation Project

In order to make the i Fight Depression tool available nationwide in all participating countries (ie, implementation and transfer countries), the following intervention steps have been implemented: (1) translation and cultural adaptation of the tool for all countries as needed; (2) in Greece, Italy, Hungary, and Spain, the i Fight Depression tool was already implemented, and in all other intervention countries (Estonia, Bulgaria, Poland, and Ireland), a coordination site was appointed to manage the use of the i Fight Depression

Use of Random Forest to Predict Adherence in an Online Intervention for Depression Using Baseline and Early Usage Data: Model Development and Validation on Retrospective Routine Care Log Data

Use of Random Forest to Predict Adherence in an Online Intervention for Depression Using Baseline and Early Usage Data: Model Development and Validation on Retrospective Routine Care Log Data

Digital interventions, such as the i Fight Depression (i FD) tool discussed in this paper, are increasingly available as options to help close the gap in effective depression treatment. These tools, based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), enable treatment for a larger number of patients regardless of space and time constraints.

Efficacy of a Guided Web-Based Self-Management Intervention for Depression or Dysthymia: Randomized Controlled Trial With a 12-Month Follow-Up Using an Active Control Condition

Efficacy of a Guided Web-Based Self-Management Intervention for Depression or Dysthymia: Randomized Controlled Trial With a 12-Month Follow-Up Using an Active Control Condition

The main objective was to compare changes in self-rated symptom severity occurring during the trial period up to 12 months for patients with mild-to-moderate depression, who either used a CBT-based, web-based self-management tool (i Fight Depression [i FD]) or took part in an active control condition (progressive muscle relaxation [PMR]). We expected the i FD tool to be superior to an active control in terms of symptom reduction.
