Recasting Jung Through an Indigenist Approach to Deepen Shared Knowledges of Well-being and Healing on Australian Soils: Protocol for a Qualitative Landscape Research Study

Recasting Jung Through an Indigenist Approach to Deepen Shared Knowledges of Well-being and Healing on Australian Soils: Protocol for a Qualitative Landscape Research Study

Using arts-based approaches, which involve opportunities for storytelling and counter-storytelling, provides a valuable basis for developing meaningful healing and transformative research with First Nations peoples [14-16]. An Indigenist approach to the research takes Western theories and recasts them through methodological reform—where theories are challenged rather than imposed as given truth [17].

Drill-Hole Bone Defects in Animal Models of Bone Healing: Protocol for a Systematic Review

Drill-Hole Bone Defects in Animal Models of Bone Healing: Protocol for a Systematic Review

Because of its complexity, sometimes, the healing process fails, and this may lead to fractures healing slowly or not at all [6]. Delayed fracture healing is more often seen in patients with comorbidities such as osteoporosis, diabetes, or old age [7-9]. In fact, as many as 5%-10% of the fractures devolve into delayed bone healing [10,11]—either as a significantly increased healing time or as a complete lack of healing resulting in a nonunion fracture.

Videoconferencing in Pressure Injury: Randomized Controlled Telemedicine Trial in Patients With Spinal Cord Injury

Videoconferencing in Pressure Injury: Randomized Controlled Telemedicine Trial in Patients With Spinal Cord Injury

Time to healing was measured as days from baseline to healing. Changes in HRQo L in the 2 groups were compared using the Norwegian versions of the 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) [29] and the Five-Dimension European Quality of Life (EQ-5 D) scale [30]. In case of lack of an available Norwegian index version of the EQ-5 D scale, the validated UK index is recommended to be used in analyses regarding Norwegian subpopulations [30].

Mobile Health–Based Thermometer for Monitoring Wound Healing After Endovascular Therapy in Patients With Chronic Foot Ulcer: Prospective Cohort Study

Mobile Health–Based Thermometer for Monitoring Wound Healing After Endovascular Therapy in Patients With Chronic Foot Ulcer: Prospective Cohort Study

Iida et al [7] reported that angiosome-guided endovascular therapy improved wound healing rates compared to the wound healing rates of non–angiosome-guided procedures, emphasizing the concept of anatomy. Kawarada et al [8] found that skin perfusion pressure, a physiology-based parameter, was useful in determining when to end endovascular therapy.
