Evaluating the Quality, Content Accuracy, and User Suitability of mHealth Prenatal Care Apps for Expectant Mothers: Critical Assessment Study

Evaluating the Quality, Content Accuracy, and User Suitability of mHealth Prenatal Care Apps for Expectant Mothers: Critical Assessment Study

The remaining 26 apps were then assessed against the study’s predefined inclusion criteria, which considered factors such as app functionality, comprehensiveness of content, and language suitability. In this phase, 9 apps were excluded for failing to meet these criteria. This left 17 apps for a detailed eligibility assessment, during which 8 additional apps were excluded for not fully aligning with the requirements.

Oncology Clinicians' Perspectives of a Remote Patient Monitoring Program: Multi-Modal Case Study Approach

Oncology Clinicians' Perspectives of a Remote Patient Monitoring Program: Multi-Modal Case Study Approach

Initially, survey methods assessed clinicians’ responses to the overall usability, functionality, and value of RPM. Second, clinicians participated in semistructured interviews and focus group sessions to elicit feedback and explanations about items of concern found in the survey responses [13,14,17]. The interview sessions aimed to delve deeper into the survey concerns and examine the use of the RPM application from a clinical perspective.

Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Program for People With Schizophrenia After the First Episode of Psychosis: Protocol for an Open-Label Intervention Study

Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Program for People With Schizophrenia After the First Episode of Psychosis: Protocol for an Open-Label Intervention Study

Specific cognitive skills, such as prospective memory, attention, and working memory, have been shown to impact both medication adherence [15] and overall functionality [16]. Cognitive remediation interventions in schizophrenia have been investigated and shown to improve neurocognition [17], although there is limited evidence of the generalization of trained abilities to daily life functioning [18].

Demographic Profile, Health, and Associated Factors of Family Caregivers and Functionality of Hospitalized Older Adults: Cross-Sectional, Exploratory, and Descriptive Study

Demographic Profile, Health, and Associated Factors of Family Caregivers and Functionality of Hospitalized Older Adults: Cross-Sectional, Exploratory, and Descriptive Study

In turn, the impairment of the functional capacity of older adults has a major impact on the lives of family members, caregivers, the health system, and mainly, on their own lives, as they need their functionality to play their roles in society and in daily activities. Not being functionally well means greater expenses, greater vulnerability, and dependence, reducing well-being and quality of life.

A Novel Electronic Record System for Documentation and Efficient Workflow for Community Health Workers: Development and Usability Study

A Novel Electronic Record System for Documentation and Efficient Workflow for Community Health Workers: Development and Usability Study

In this paper, we describe the COPE database development process and outline the platform’s features and functionality. The lessons learned through this process and the values of this unique database can support further implementation and similar efforts to develop CHW client management systems. We applied the principles of human-centered design to develop a database covering the varied needs of the COPE project and serving as a data tracking, quality improvement, and evaluation platform [12].

Phase Angle and Impedance Ratio as Indicators of Physical Function and Fear of Falling in Older Adult Women: Cross-Sectional Analysis

Phase Angle and Impedance Ratio as Indicators of Physical Function and Fear of Falling in Older Adult Women: Cross-Sectional Analysis

The poorer physical function seen in the low Ph A group suggests that a lower Ph A reflects diminished skeletal muscle integrity and functionality in older adult women. Balance scores were significantly higher in the low Ph A group, which are representative of poor balance and moderate to high fall risk (Table 1). A longitudinal study conducted by Asano et al [13] concluded that lower body strength diminishes with aging, and the observed poor balance score was associated with low Ph A.
