Therefore, Spradley’s [23,24] ethnographic method is aptly suited for this study as it focuses on conducting in-depth interviews with clinical nurses and gaining understanding of the context from both internal and external perspectives.

Online ethnography, also referred to as netnography or internet ethnography, has emerged as a new form, along with the metaverse concept, to yield great advantages in the medical field. Nowadays, a massive pool of medical information can rapidly and anonymously be found online, from which someone’s commentary or experience with a specific health or medical issue can provide new research insight.
