To support adherence to the nutritional component, the e Coach inquired whether patients had taken their prescribed protein supplement.
During the surgery phase (week 6), the e Coach provided information on key topics such as preparing for surgery, bowel preparation (if applicable), anticoagulant therapy, and discharge procedures.

To anticipate the development of the Iris (T2 D) app, which is intended as an electronic coach (e Coach) to support self-management of patients with T2 D, the aim of this study is to determine which predictors are associated with acceptance of this specific app (for a description of the Iris app, see the “Methods” section).
The TAM [14] is one of the most prevailing, dominant theoretical models that has been frequently applied to predict consumer acceptance of health technology such as m Health [16].

We have planned to integrate the proposed e Health ontology into a simulated e Coach system used for automatic rule-based recommendation generation to inspire individuals to manage healthy lifestyles with early health risk predictions. The planned system will have 2 main modules, as depicted in Figure 2: a data collection module and a data annotation module.
