Reflections of Foster Youth Engaging in the Co-Design of Digital Mental Health Technology: Duoethnography Study

Reflections of Foster Youth Engaging in the Co-Design of Digital Mental Health Technology: Duoethnography Study

In this context, the duoethnography process focuses on the experience of 4 self-identified foster youth (the FAB members) who codeveloped the mental wellness app Fostr Space with a team of academics, clinicians, and technology developers. Duoethnography was regarded as the most appropriate approach for this study as it allowed for centering the voices of the FAB. Furthermore, the duoethnography reflection process promoted further collaboration between the FAB and the academic co-design team.
