Medical Marijuana Documentation Practices in Patient Electronic Health Records: Retrospective Observational Study Using Smart Data Elements and a Review of Medical Records

Medical Marijuana Documentation Practices in Patient Electronic Health Records: Retrospective Observational Study Using Smart Data Elements and a Review of Medical Records

After entering the Smart Text, the Epic user will see each of the individual components (in this case—certifying provider, authorized dispensary, certifying condition, dosage product provided, dose, and active ingredient) and can input text into each section. Even with structured documentation variables in place, implementation and use can be inconsistent [19]. EHR systems also serve as a wealth of information for retrospective research [20,21].

Evaluation of Machine Learning Approaches for Predicting Warfarin Discharge Dose in Cardiac Surgery Patients: Retrospective Algorithm Development and Validation Study

Evaluation of Machine Learning Approaches for Predicting Warfarin Discharge Dose in Cardiac Surgery Patients: Retrospective Algorithm Development and Validation Study

Consequently, close monitoring and frequent dosage adjustments are needed to optimize warfarin therapy and prevent thromboembolic events and bleeding in these patients [8]. Warfarin dosing prediction algorithms are commonly used by clinicians to optimize treatment and reduce the unpredictability of warfarin responses [9,10].

Dosage Frequency Effects on Treatment Outcomes Following Self-managed Digital Therapy: Retrospective Cohort Study

Dosage Frequency Effects on Treatment Outcomes Following Self-managed Digital Therapy: Retrospective Cohort Study

This naturally occurring variance in dosage presents a unique opportunity to probe dose-response relationships in SLT. Dose articulation studies are a critical first step toward establishing optimal dosage recommendations for SLT interventions [28,29]. To date, only a handful of studies have directly compared different dosage amounts of the same intervention, and none have done so in the context of self-managed digital therapies [30-36].
