The number of e-commerce websites and the resulting market are growing steadily [1], and so is the online pharmacy market [2,3]. Online sales of pharmaceuticals are experiencing tremendous growth worldwide and are expected to increase significantly in the next few years for the main business of pharmacies with over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription drugs [4].

Telehealth Business Models and Their Components: Systematic Review
To develop a search strategy, Me SH (Medical Subjects Headings) terms such as commerce, m Health, and telemedicine and key terms such as business, business model, value chain, e Health service, and commercial phenomena were used. The search strategies, number of records, and search dates are presented in Multimedia Appendix 1. There was no time limit for searching the articles, but the language was limited to English and only full-text papers were included in the study.

“Click for Closer Care”: A Content Analysis of Community Pharmacy Websites in Four Countries
Finally, the third category reflects the move away from the brick-and-mortar commercial sale only, to an e-commerce model with the integration of a Web shop in community pharmacy websites.
