To improve reporting completeness and replicability of interventions, CONSORT item 5 was extended into a 12-item reporting guideline, “the Template for Intervention Description and Replication” (TIDie R) [17]. Other extensions are also available for specific designs (eg, crossover trials) [18], interventions (eg, nonpharmacologic treatment interventions) [19], and data (eg, harms) [20].

The second objective is to provide a detailed description of the EJDe R intervention in accordance with the Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TIDie R) checklist [47] to overcome criticisms concerning poor and incomplete reporting of complex nonpharmacological interventions [48].
