Hybrid Hospital-at-Home Program in Singapore: Ethnographic Study

Hybrid Hospital-at-Home Program in Singapore: Ethnographic Study

The recent rapid expansion of Ha H across the US, the United Kingdom, and Singapore was fueled initially by the COVID-19 pandemic but sustained by ongoing challenges in hospital bed capacity as populations age [9,10]. The conventional high-touch approach, often observed in older Ha H pilot studies, tends to offer patients greater reassurance and confidence in care [11,12].

Public Health Messaging About Dengue on Facebook in Singapore During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Content Analysis

Singapore, located in Southeast Asia, is particularly vulnerable, experiencing cyclical dengue outbreaks and remaining hyperendemic for the past 3 decades [2]. Research suggests a link between dengue and COVID-19 incidence in Asia [3], raising concerns about a dual epidemic [4,5]. Singapore experienced its most significant dengue outbreak in 2020, peaking during the COVID-19 circuit breaker period when restrictions were placed on nonessential activities [4].

Primary Technology-Enhanced Care for Hypertension Scaling Program: Trial-Based Economic Evaluation Examining Effectiveness and Cost-Effectiveness Using Real-World Data in Singapore

The Ministry of Health Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT) is an agile unit focused on adopting an experimental and evidence-based approach to redesigning health care in Singapore by providing effective new end-to-end system-level solutions [9]. MOHT conducted a pilot trial involving 120 patients from a public primary care clinic in Singapore to evaluate the effectiveness of the PTEC-HT program in a controlled setting adopting a quasi-experimental design.

Trends in Early-Onset Colorectal Cancer in Singapore: Epidemiological Study of a Multiethnic Population

Trends in Early-Onset Colorectal Cancer in Singapore: Epidemiological Study of a Multiethnic Population

Singapore has a multiethnic resident population of 4 million, of which 74% are Chinese, 13% Malays, and 9% Indians [11]. In Singapore, CRC has the highest incidence among all cancers for the past several years, which, therefore, imposes a substantial burden in terms of complications, mortality, health care resources, and medical costs [12]. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry Annual Report 2021, there were a total of 12,239 new cases of CRC diagnosed from 2017 to 2021.

Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication and Emotional Appeals in COVID-19 Public Health Messaging: Quantitative Content Analysis

Singapore effectively managed COVID-19, which is evident from the World Health Organization lauding its “all-of-government” approach [1]. This approach [1,2] entails collaboration among different government agencies [2]. While COVID-19 is no longer a global health emergency, Singapore continues to experience periodic infection waves [3]. During the pandemic, the Singaporean government charted its response to COVID-19 in stages, as detailed in a white paper [4].
