To date, the app has been used to screen 1880 suspected patients and was able to detect 122 malaria cases (114/122, 93.4% Plasmodium falciparum; 6/122, 4.9% P vivax; and 2/122, 1.6% P falciparum/P vivax mixed infection cases). The use of the Fever Tracker app aims to strengthen malaria surveillance and provide instant digitization of epidemiological data.
