Participants who did not order a kit were more likely to agree with the statement “I think that new HIV/AIDS treatments can eradicate the virus from your body,” compared to those who ordered a kit (P=.03; Table (d) in Multimedia Appendix 3). People who ordered a self-test kit were more likely to disagree with the statement “I could not be friends with someone who has HIV/AIDS,” compared to those who did not order a kit (P=.03).

A Patient-Initiated Digital COVID-19 Contact Notification Tool (TellYourContacts): Evaluation Study
Building Healthy Online Communities (BHOC) and Team Klausner Saving Lives (TKSL) collaborated to create and build the Tell Your Contacts website, which officially launched on May 13, 2020. Tell Your Contacts is a rapid adaptation of Tell Your Partner, a website on which those positive for an STD can anonymously notify their sex partners [18]. Given the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the serious nature of some symptoms, a number of BHOC partners requested the adaptation of Tell Your Partner for COVID-19.
