Central Auditory Tests to Track Cognitive Function in People With HIV: Longitudinal Cohort Study

We hypothesized that the diffuse white matter disease associated with HIV infection would affect central auditory processing progressively [4,32,33]. This suggests that the effects of HIV on the CNS could be tracked with CATs, which are quantitative, time-efficient, and repeatable.
