Verbal Trails B: 10-J and then lost track This male patient, aged in his 50s, was admitted with COVID-19 pneumonia; by Day 3, he required oxygen and was given dexamethasone. The nursing staff found him incontinent, with soiled clothes, to which he was indifferent, saying “I feel fine.” He needed assistance in showering and in understanding what the water knobs were for. During a telephone cognitive examination, he reported his mood as “good,” and he did not recall his confusion in the shower.
