Identifying Trusted Sources of Lyme Disease Prevention Information Among Internet Users Connected to Academic Public Health Resources: Internet-Based Survey Study

We compared demographic variables for TDPL- and TERC-sourced responses using Pearson chi-square test (stats package) [31] with simulated P value (Monte Carlo simulation based on 2000 replicates) [33] to account for the relatively small sample size of each of these groups. Finding no statistical difference between demographic representation or responses to TDPL- versus TERC-initiated surveys, we aggregated data from both TDPL and TERC surveys.
