Polar H10 has previously been found to be valid when compared with ECG, with a correlation of r=0.997 [18]. Polar OH1 was attached to an arm band and strapped securely to the nondominant forearm, according to the manufacturer’s instructions. HR data were recorded at 1-second intervals using 6 light-emitting diode sensors and live transmitted via Bluetooth to a smartphone with the Polar Beat app (Polar Electro Oy).
